As the capital of Fujian Province and the port city close to China’s most significant tea-producing regions, Fuzhou is an important trading port on Chinese coast , connected to the sea via the Min River. A large number of Foreign embassy and foreign institutions have historically clustered in the Yantai Mountain area of Fuzhou in late 19th century.
