Our trip to Fuzhou was in July 2019, we visited several historcal sites, and learn about the influence of geographical factors on Fuzhou’s development.
Fuzhou. As the capital of Fujian Province and the port city close to China’s most significant tea-producing regions, Fuzhou is an important trading port on Chinese coast , connected to the sea via the Min River. A large number of Foreign embassy and foreign institutions have historically clustered in the Yantai Mountain area of Fuzhou in late 19th century. The shipping industry along the Min River was also highly developed, making Fuzhou a crucial shipping hub and trade port in modern China.
